Yesterday, Blizzard presented the single-player aspect in WoW cataclysm Gold in London and company spokesperson Bill Roper demonstrating the first three levels, and also guiding the media through the game's editor for worlds. The single-player game is designed following the same principles that the Starcraft single-player game, and features the story being presented from the perspective from the four factions: the human alliance WoW Cataclysm Classic, the orcs, and night elves. The tutorial, which is titled"Thrall's Training," provides players with the game's rules using the original orc-based character Thrall who was a slave of the human. It's advised that even veteran WoW Cataclysm Classic players use the tutorial to get started as it will demonstrate some of the most important aspects of the brand new control system, which includes using heroes.

The initial jump in the narrative is when you begin the campaign in a proper manner, and you are able to leave the orcs behind and start as the human hero Prince Arthas who is in charge of the defense of the village with the help of Uther Lightbringer who is a figure who is from The WoW Cataclysm Classic expansion Beyond the Dark Portal. Many of the heroes you encounter in the game will be familiar to fans of earlier WoW Cataclysm Classic games--if they aren't from WoW Cataclysm Classic directly, some of them on humans and on orc side are directly related to characters who were in the game. For example, in level 3 the game WoW Cataclysm Classic, Arthas is escorting a young sorceress named Jaina Proudfoot on a quest which aims to discover the source of the plague that has spread across the country. It is discovered it is Jaina was the child of Admiral Proudfoot from WoW Cataclysm Classic.

While Roper did not reveal what happens when the storyline begins to turn back to the orcs, or if it branches out into WoW Cataclysm Classic or night tales of the elf However, he did state that players could be confronted by heroes they've played before in different races.
